We are a small group of perioperative nurses who passed the CNOR and built the free study tool we wish we had had — an independent site, not connected to CCI or AORN.

Who We Are
We are a handful of perioperative RNs who sat the CNOR exam, passed, and kept the maps we made along the way. One of us charted the eight subject areas onto a single wall of index cards; another timed practice vignettes night after night until the exam-day pace stopped feeling foreign. When it was over, those notes were too useful to throw out — so we turned them into this site instead of a shoebox.
Everyone here has actually stood in an operating room, and that is the whole reason the site exists. We wanted a free resource written by people who know what a circulating nurse really does on a Tuesday, not a generic quiz bank bolted onto a subject we had never worked. Start with the practice test, then work the study guide one domain at a time.
Approach
What We Build
We build two things and keep them free. The first is a clinical-vignette practice test that runs entirely in your browser — pick an answer, lock it, read the worked explanation, move on. The second is a domain-by-domain study guide that follows the CNOR blueprint, so the weeks you put in map onto the subject areas the exam actually weights instead of onto whatever felt urgent that day.
We name CCI and AORN only to point you toward them; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to either, and CNOR is a trademark of CCI, used here only to say which exam we help you study for. For the current fee, eligibility rules, and how the exam is scored, we send you straight to CCI — those specifics are theirs to publish, and we would rather link you to the source than guess a number that could be out of date.
